Don't get SCREWED @ Waffle House
04/17/2009
So this morning I went and bought me and the wife some Waffles from Waffle House and she had an F'N Screw inside her Waffle... A SCREW!! Like a freaking dirty philips screw with thick black oily gunk all over it..
It ended up cracking her tooth and we ended up going to the E.R. Turns out we have a case so we're meeting with an attorney tomorrow...
Such a shame man, I freaking love waffles :(

Shit sucks... I mean come on?? IN A FUCKING WAFFLE??? Man.. I can't believe the screw was ironed into this thing. And the woman was giving Kasie shit about how she couldn't give her her money back and that it didn't look like one of their screws hahaha. So she called corporate and some District Manager came and chewed them all out got our money back and tried to ask "How Bad is it Honey?" Haha..
There is a local News Reporter that busts through crappy restaurants and confronts them LIVE ON TELEVISION! Haha, this is going to be really FUN!

Hello! I thought I would give you guys a sneak peak of the babies & kids line soon to drop. Enjoy.

Greetings from Exalted By Mark.
04/05/2009
Hello! My name is Mark. I have been the Janitor/President of Exalted Clothing since 2007. I got the idea for Exalted when I was sitting at my crumby job as a Starbucks Rebate Processor. This was not the kind of Starbucks job where I got to sit around and drink frappuccinos all day. It was the kind of job where I would sit around and wait for your Grandmother to buy a new dishwasher. Then call her and spend 45 minutes trying to explain how she won the gift card and that I am not a telemarketer. Pretty awesome right? NOT! Picture the show "The Office" with out Michael, Jim & Pam. Then picture working with a bunch of Angela's.
NOTE* If you didn't already know, corporate cubicle jobs suck!

It was then it hit me that I wanted something more for my life. I thought I had thrown away all of my art skills and talents after college but really I was just wasting time. All I did was take up stupid customer service jobs to put gas in my car and food in my tum. This ofcourse lead me no where. So I decide to quit settling for less and start investing in my passion.
After selling my Tattoo Equipment, Turntables & XBOX 360, Exalted Clothing was born. When the company first started it quickly became more than I could imagine. We had some great success selling product at the 2007 & 2008 Warped Tour, sponsoring Hardcore Bands and through our dedicated Myspace friends. Things were going great for the company but I personally felt like something was missing in my life.

At the end of 2007 I decided to move to Georgia. Talk about a complete culture shock. Imagine moving from Los Angeles to Georgia, City to Country, What up to Hey Ya'll. This threw a monkey wrench in the company but I feel in a really good way. While in Atlanta, it had been the 2nd time I actually worked as a Professional Web/Graphic Designer and a year later my little miracle Emmett was born. The company was put on the back burner but I always knew in my heart that I really wanted to re-evaluate what I wanted for Exalted and that there really wasn't any roots being made. It was just this company that sponsored hardcore bands and did Warped Tour every year which was cool for a while but quickly became shitty for me.
I really did not want to move in the direction that these other companies had gone. I didn't want to be this blank company that just bows down to what everybody else is doing to make money. I always wanted to do something that would allow me to truly leave my mark and leave people wanting more in a good way.

Before starting this company my good friend Dan gave me the best advice I have ever received. He made me realize that I was starting a business that is not in any way, shape or form, original. After hearing this it was a must that I stand out.
Dan said "Mark, what your doing is not original at all. The T-shirt thing has been done over and over again. So what you need to focus on is presentation. Everything is based off of first impressions, a man's handshake, cars, women etc. (He kept going but I'll spare you) To make it simple for you son, What would you rather have? A smashed up cheeseburger from McDonalds or a Big Juicy Guacamole Burger from Red Robin? You see son, they are both hamburgers but there is a big difference in quality & presentation."
Dan is a great man. Not only did his advice and example make me hungry but it made real sense to me and stuck with me ever since.
My second time around I really want to focus on the quality of the shirts and the quality of the presentation. I want to invest in everyone of my customers and keep them first in all that I do. Quality Garments, Packaging, Service means nothing if I can't make the customer feel good about purchasing something from me. The best feeling in the world is not selling a shirt but to know that your customer had thousands of other companies to buy from and chose you.
There are still tons of dedicated Exalted customers and frequent visitors that support this company and rep my shirts to this day. I am grateful and appreciative for everyone of you and hope you stay a supporter for a long time to come. I know that I have to take it to the next level and in order to really put all of myself in to this company I feel I need to put my name on it. The company will no longer be called Exalted Clothing, it will now be called Exalted By Mark.
( No turning back baby!)
The company has gone through many changes but definitely for the better. With the customer always kept in mind first I really don't see how this company can go wrong. The new shirts will knock your socks off and I know you will not be disappointed.
Please stay tuned, I promise it will be worth it.
Much love,
